Under administrative direction, oversees the day-to-day operations and strategic administration of Human Resources functions for assigned departments. Interprets, administers, and ensures compliance with City of San Antonio policies, procedures, and programs while serving as the primary liaison between client departments and the Human Resources Department. Acts as an internal consultant to senior management and executive staff to support departmental strategic goals. Plans, organizes, and directs Employee Relations ensuring effective delivery of comprehensive HR services across multiple departments. Working conditions are primarily inside an office environment. May exercise direct supervision over assigned staff.
