The central objective of the Thrive (ER) team @Autodesk is to ensure treatment of employees is fair, respectful, and consistent with Autodesk’s policies, culture and core values. The Employee Relations Manager will provide employee relations and workplace investigation expertise, case management, and strategic consultation within the global ER function. The responsibilities for this role primarily focus on independently managing complex workplace investigations, conflict resolution, and employee relations consultation across the AMER Region. The ER Manager will provide expert consultation and guidance on complex employee relations matters. Responsibilities include conducting impartial workplace investigations, assessing employee concerns, interpreting Company policy, advising on resolution strategies, and navigating sensitive employee relations situations while balancing business needs, employee experience, and organizational risk. A successful candidate must be comfortable operating independently with minimal day-to-day direction, exercising sound judgment in ambiguous situations, appropriately assessing organizational and legal risk, engaging relevant stakeholders as appropriate, and driving cases to timely resolution. Equally important, this individual is expected to be a collaborative and trusted member of the Employee Relations team including recognizing when to escalate concerns, seek partnership, and leverage the expertise of colleagues to ensure consistent, high-quality outcomes. Prioritization and balancing multiple high-priority cases, stakeholder consultations, and time-sensitive matters is a critical component for success in the position. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Director, Thrive. This will be a 6-month fixed term contract with potential for extension.
