Requirements

  • High School Graduate General Studies and One year related clinical experience., upon hire
  • High School GED General Studies and One year related clinical experience., upon hire

  • Bachelors Degree in statistics, business,computer science, health science, correlated field., upon hire

Responsibilities

  • Support pre-screening health requirements and employee wellness initiatives, ensuring all pre-employment health assessments are completed and documented.
  • Review screening results against protocols, referring questionable findings to the Director.
  • Assist in developing policies, SOPs, and workflows for employee health.
  • Analyze/compile employee health data, generate reports/graphs, and present findings to senior management.
  • Serve on the DDO Safety Committee and other relevant committees.
  • Gather/analyze data from various systems.
  • Occasionally travel for meetings and initiatives.
  • Tracks paperwork associated with annual quantiferon (TB) testing and fit-testing.
  • Designs spreadsheets and databases to capture and report data required for Employee Health and Worker's Compensation and various quality improvement initiatives.
  • Enters data accurately and timely. Performs periodic data audits and analysis.
  • Duties relative to compliance with Joint Commission, Southern Nevada Health District, OSHA and DIR.
  • Develops analytical strategies for creating reports used for tracking compliance with Vaccinations, Quantiferon, Flu Shots, Fit Testing, Exposures, WC Claims, Modified Duty, ADA, OSHA, Leaves of Absence, Wellness initiatives, WebIZ.
  • Utilizes hospital data systems to incorporate data from other areas.
