Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing or the equivalent knowledge and experience is required.
- Excellent organizational, creative and problem-solving skills required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- A minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience with at least three (3) years in cardiac disease specific specialty is required.
- Current RN Registration in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and State of Rhode Island is required.
- Qualified in all basic and advanced cardiac support standards as set by the American Heart Association.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
Responsibilities
- Developing and managing Cardiac Catheterization and Advanced Heart Failure clinics across Southcoast Health.
- Coordinating the evaluation, treatment, education, and longitudinal management of patients with advanced heart failure disease and coronary artery disease.
- Facilitating workups, optimizing guideline-directed medical therapy, and coordinating diagnostic testing and procedures.
- Working closely within our Heart and Vascular service line to ensure patient-centered care across the continuum.
- Developing workflows and processes that enhance clinical quality, operational efficiency, and patient experience.
