Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing or the equivalent knowledge and experience is required.
  • Excellent organizational, creative and problem-solving skills required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience with at least three (3) years in cardiac disease specific specialty is required.
  • Current RN Registration in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and State of Rhode Island is required.
  • Qualified in all basic and advanced cardiac support standards as set by the American Heart Association.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and managing Cardiac Catheterization and Advanced Heart Failure clinics across Southcoast Health.
  • Coordinating the evaluation, treatment, education, and longitudinal management of patients with advanced heart failure disease and coronary artery disease.
  • Facilitating workups, optimizing guideline-directed medical therapy, and coordinating diagnostic testing and procedures.
  • Working closely within our Heart and Vascular service line to ensure patient-centered care across the continuum.
  • Developing workflows and processes that enhance clinical quality, operational efficiency, and patient experience.
