Requirements

  • Postsecondary (Cert/Diploma/Program Grad) from an accredited school of nursing (Required)
  • RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure in the state of practice Upon Hire (Required)
  • BCLS - Basic Life Support within Facility-Specified time frame Upon Hire
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA standards, CDC guidelines, and occupational health best practices.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical recordkeeping and confidentiality practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., and perform frequent walking, standing, and manual tasks.
  • Must be able to respond to alarms, interpret instructions, and communicate effectively in person or via phone

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in nursing (Preferred)
  • Prior Experience in occupational health, infection control, or employee wellness programs (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Administers employee physicals, screenings, and immunizations in accordance with policy and OSHA regulations.
  • Evaluates, documents, and manages work-related injuries and illnesses.
  • Maintains confidential and accurate employee health records.
  • Provides guidance and follow-up regarding workers’ compensation and return-to-work status.
  • Collaborates with HR, Infection Control, and other departments on employee-related health matters.
  • Advises on exposure incidents and communicable disease management.
  • Participates in audits, surveys, and regulatory compliance efforts.
  • Prepares reports and maintains documentation to support employee health activities.
  • Responds to emergent employee health needs and coordinates referrals when necessary.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
