About The Position

The Employee Health Coordinator (RN) administers and coordinates Northern Montana Health Care's Employee Health Program, occupational health activities, leave administration programs, and return-to-work processes. The role coordinates employee health screenings, communicable disease management, return-to-work determinations, fitness-for-duty reviews, Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) administration, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accommodation coordination, workers' compensation case management, and employee health regulatory compliance. The coordinator collaborates with Human Resources, Infection Prevention, department directors, medical providers, and employees to support a safe workforce and maintain regulatory and organizational compliance.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) or Registered Nursing (RN) program.
Current and unrestricted Montana nursing license.
Minimum of three (2) years of healthcare experience, as written in the posting.
Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to maintain confidential employee health and personnel information.
Ability to collaborate effectively with employees, leaders, and providers.
Ability to maintain composure and objectivity and apply sound judgment while balancing employee needs, operational demands, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Administer and coordinate the Employee Health Program and occupational health activities.

Administer FMLA processes and coordinate ADA accommodations.
Manage workers' compensation cases.
