Under general direction, plan, produce, and implement internal and external communications tactics for projects, programs, and services related to the VSP Vision employee experience and employment branding, with discrete audience and talent market segments and via varied channels. Develops and executes employee communication plans, working with internal and external partners across multiple business units as necessary to achieve stated objectives, including employee retention and attraction. Works closely with business partners to execute employee communication programs that meet company objectives, including those in the areas of employee engagement and enablement. Identifies employment branding and activation opportunities and keeps up to date on trends to understand evolving employee experience and talent acquisition expectations. Partners with internal/external business partners to ensure communications program positioning/promotion is aligned and effective. Demonstrates the department's best practices in all areas of internal communications, employment branding, and employee experience, developing and writing content that aligns with and supports organizational objectives. Serves as a central resource for employment brand-related information; educates and supports business partners on employment-brand related issues and opportunities. Coordinates with business partners in creating and deploying employment brand-building communication programs and materials. Writes clear, concise, on-brand content that engages and informs the workforce and supports talent acquisition goals.
