This role is for an organized HR professional who can manage people, processes, and timelines, and has experience leading initiatives, coordinating events and projects, creating communications, and turning ideas into action. The specialist will manage employee experience programs, build relationships, and create experiences that help employees feel welcomed, recognized, included, and connected. The role uses project management, communication, and organizational skills to deliver organizational culture and diversity programs throughout the employee lifecycle. The position involves working with a team committed to providing WSECU employees with the best service possible. The Employee Experience Specialist will administer company-wide culture programs, including employee rewards and recognition, culture events, WSECU’s branded workwear, and employee diversity and inclusion (D&I) efforts. They will plan, coordinate, and implement D&I programs aligned with strategy and goals, serving as a subject matter resource for D&I training, presenting D&I segments in orientations, and coordinating the D&I calendar and related communications. The role also involves supporting WSECU’s Employee Resource Groups, partnering with talent acquisition on the Affirmative Action program, and collaborating with PCS leaders to deliver employee engagement events and programs. Additionally, the specialist will recommend program improvements, create assets for culture and diversity programs, and support the PCS team with administrative tasks. This is a hybrid role with in-office days in Olympia Headquarters every Wednesday, and periodically other days as needed for meetings, training, and events. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, full-time, a minimum of 40 hours per week, with scheduling flexibility to meet service needs.
