About The Position

EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT SPECIALIST Join our Human Resources Team at Moab Regional Hospital! Moab Regional Hospital is seeking a highly visible and relationship-driven Employee Engagement Specialist to join our Human Resources team. This role is ideal for an HR professional who thrives on building trust, supporting leaders, and strengthening workplace culture in a 24/7 healthcare environment. This is not a desk-only HR role. The successful candidate will be present across departments, rounding regularly, facilitating meaningful conversations, and partnering with leaders to turn engagement data into action. This is a full-time position, generally scheduled Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM; however, occasional evenings or weekends may be required to support a 24/7 healthcare environment. Flexibility and availability across shifts are essential, as this role plays a key part in strengthening workforce stability and employee experience at Moab Regional Hospital. This is a Non-Exempt, full-time, benefitted, year round position. Requirements

  • Experience in employee relations, engagement, or organizational development.
  • Strong interpersonal presence and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to interpret engagement data and guide leaders toward measurable improvements.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Gallup engagement tools is a plus, but willing to train the right person.
  • Healthcare experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Build trusted relationships with employees and leaders across all levels.
  • Lead engagement initiatives using the Gallup platform.
  • Facilitate survey results discussions and department action planning.
  • Conduct stay interviews and identify retention risks.
  • Building training materials and coach managers on engagement, communication, and performance conversations.
  • Contribute to recognition and culture-building initiatives.
