About The Position

Long Prairie Packing, LLC, an American Foods Group Company, has an opportunity for an Employee Engagement Coordinator at our Long Prairie, MN plant. This role involves conducting tours, creating announcements, coordinating engagement events and team building activities, and managing logistics. The coordinator will also be responsible for designing and implementing employee engagement programs, cultivating vendor relationships for company events, collaborating with other departments on engagement initiatives, and facilitating surveys to gather employee feedback. The goal is to identify trends and insights to optimize engagement. This description is not intended to be all-inclusive, and employees may perform other related duties.

Requirements

  • Diploma/GED required.
  • Basic PC skills: experience with MAS or other A/P packages is helpful.
  • Prior accounts payable experience helpful.
  • Skill and qualification in social media strategy
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Must be able to perform job duties with minimal direction.
  • Good work and attendance record.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct tours: acquire knowledge of the production floor to carry out informative tours.
  • Create announcements.
  • Coordinate and organize engagement events.
  • Facilitate team building activities.
  • Coordinate logistics, scheduling, and participant communications.
  • Designing and implementing comprehensive employee engagement programs that align with the company’s strategic objectives and culture.
  • Cultivate a positive working relationship with each off-site vendor to obtain the best deals for company events.
  • Collaborate with other departments to create initiatives and programs that promote employee engagement.
  • Facilitating surveys to gather employees’ feedback on workplace satisfaction, motivation, and engagement levels
  • Identify trends and insights to optimized engagement.
