About The Position

Our client RibbitZ is looking for an Employee Benefits / ERISA Attorney with 2–10 years of experience to join an established and growing practice. The successful candidate will work closely with the department head to support a strong client base while building relationships and preparing to take over a significant book of business.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • 2–10 years of Employee Benefits / ERISA experience
  • Experience drafting ERISA plan documents (ESOPs, 401k, etc.)
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills
  • Interest in long-term practice development and succession

Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on ERISA compliance, fiduciary duties, and plan corrections
  • Draft and amend plan documents including ESOPs, 401(k)s, and profit-sharing plans
  • Support M&A transactions with benefits due diligence and plan transitions
  • Work directly with the department head on client matters
  • Build and maintain client relationships
  • Develop toward leading the practice and inheriting a book of business
