About The Position

A Benefits Analyst contributes to C3’s success by performing the following tasks: Collect client census data, renewal plan designs, rate information, historical claims experience data, and any other relevant materials required to prepare RFPs for client renewals and prospective groups. Scrutinize the census data and identify any discrepancies to the client. Possess advanced Excel skills and the ability to analyze census data, update client experience and utilization reports, and input carrier data for comparison. Familiarity with benefit surveys and benchmarking is a plus. Verify the benefits, premium rates, and competitiveness of the proposals received. Create and coordinate materials for the enrollment process and other formal client presentations, such as strategic planning and renewal & marketing meetings. Manage Open Enrollment Communications (i.e. Open Enrollment PowerPoint, booklets, flyers). Support clients to prepare for open enrollment by providing reviewed materials, rates, contributions for benefits administration system. Collaborate with carrier representatives to ensure a seamless implementation of new plans. Coordinate Administrative Installation with the insurance carrier and participate in installation meetings. Provide support to service team to ensure clients are compliant (i.e. 5500 review, WRAP doc needs, compliance deadline reminders). Maintain the Agency Management System. Review carrier/vendor contracts, evidence of coverage documents, and summary plan descriptions for accuracy. Follow the processes and procedures outlined in the Procedure Manual. Act as a liaison for clients to research and resolve coverage, claim, and administrative issues. Respond promptly to client and carrier questions, requesting assistance from other members of the Client Service Team if necessary. Ensure that the client files are up-to-date and accurate. Provide backup to other Benefit teams as required.
