As an Electromagnetic Engineering Effects (E3) Engineer, you will support systems engineering and testing in one or more E3 areas. The primary focus is performing E3 work—including EMI/EMC, lightning, shielding, HERO, and EMP analyses—and supporting space portfolios in developing and delivering CDRLs. You will also support EMI testing and apply E3 expertise to translate customer needs into system requirements and solutions. The role includes functional and timeline analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. You will support requirements verification by organizing, performing, evaluating, and documenting compliance verification that assesses design performance and electromagnetic issues at the package and system levels. You will join the E3 Engineering team, mentor early-career engineers, and support multiple programs. The role is classified as onsite and requires an active, existing Secret clearance after the first day, as well as U.S. citizenship.
