As an Electromagnetic Engineering Effects (E3) Engineer, you will support Systems Engineering and testing. The primary focus is E3 work—including EMI/EMC, lightning, shielding, HERO, and EMP analyses—and supporting space portfolios in developing and delivering CDRLs, as well as supporting EMI testing. You will support the main aspects of EMI testing, including logistics, writing test plans and procedures, ensuring equipment availability, setting up tests, performing testing, and generating reports for stakeholders and customers. You will apply E3 expertise to convert customer needs into system-derived requirements and solutions, and support functional and timeline analyses, trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies. You will also support requirements verification by compiling, organizing, performing, evaluating, and documenting compliance verification that assesses design performance and operational electromagnetic issues at package and system levels. The role involves joining the E3 Engineering team, mentoring junior engineers, and supporting multiple programs. It is an onsite U.S.-based position in El Segundo, California. An active and existing Secret clearance is required after day one, and U.S. citizenship is required.
