About The Position

As an Electromagnetic Interference Advanced Engineering Support Specialist here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a vital role in supporting our Aerospace business unit in Phoenix, AZ. You will be a part of a team of technicians and provide technical expertise to ensure the smooth operation of engineering processes and systems within the aerospace domain. You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location. In this role, you will impact the Aerospace business unit by providing technical leadership, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring the quality and efficiency of engineering processes that contribute to the development and maintenance of advanced aerospace systems.

Requirements

  • Technical expertise in electromagnetic interference (EMI) and its applications in aerospace.
  • Experience with spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and amplifiers.
  • Knowledge of DO-160 and MIL-STD-461 standards.
  • Ability to lead and provide technical guidance to a team.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and implementation of best practices.
  • Ability to ensure timely delivery of high-quality test results.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of engineering technicians, providing technical guidance and support to ensure project success.
  • Run environmental testing using spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, amplifiers, according to DO-160 and MIL-STD-461, on aerospace products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain and improve aerospace engineering processes and systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to maintain high quality and efficiency in engineering operations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices within the team.
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality test results aligned with project goals and aerospace industry standards.
