As an ECAD Librarian and PCB Designer for Undersea Systems, you’ll support CCA development for electronics used in high reliability undersea communication systems. Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Technology degree in Engineering or a related specialized area/field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience, plus 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus 6 years of experience.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Experience with schematic capture in Xpedition is valuable.

Nice To Haves

  • A minimum of two years’ experience using Mentor Graphics Xpedition.
  • Experience with library management practices.
  • Experience with ECAD/PCB layout design processes.
  • Knowledge of one or more PCB design tools from the Mentor Graphics suite (xDM, Xpedition. DXdatabook, BoardStation, Hyperlynx),or Al tium
  • Experience with library management practices including Xpedition parts request system, Footprint Expert Enterprise 23, 3D model creation using Solidworks NX or CREO, and Hyperlynx.
  • Circuit design and hands on prototyping experience.
  • Basic knowledge of IPC and manufacturing standards.
  • In depth knowledge of CCA fabrication techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Support CCA development for electronics used in high reliability undersea communication systems.
  • Documentation capture including (bill of material parts lists, ODB++ digital fabrication packages, 3D model generation)
  • Ability to communicate with suppliers when asked to provide clarification on design documentation packages.
