About The Position

Concentra, a large healthcare company, is seeking a Physiatrist/Neurologist for an on-site, 1099 independent contractor role to perform EMGs and NCS. This position is designed to complement an existing practice, with a typical engagement involving approximately 4-hour shifts on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. The role involves assisting in the management of medically complex patients, facilitating return to work, and providing specialist services for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal work-related injuries.

Requirements

• Licensure requirements of the state of practice
• Graduate of accredited MD or DO program of accredited university
• Unrestricted DEA license for state of jurisdiction
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Neurology or Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
• Must have Medical Malpractice Insurance which will cover you while on site

Nice To Haves

• Preferred experience in treating patients with work related injuries

Responsibilities

• Perform EMGs and NCS
• Treat patients on site at Concentra for approximately a 4-hour shift on a weekly or biweekly basis
• Provide specialist services - primarily EMGs and NCS - for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal work related injuries
