Physiatrist Independent Contractor
About The Position
Concentra, a large healthcare company, is seeking a Physiatrist / Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Specialist as a 1099 independent contractor. This role is designed to complement an existing practice, involving approximately 4-hour shifts on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. The Physiatrist will treat medically complex patients, facilitate return to work, and aid in functional restoration. This involves collaborating with medical and therapy providers to offer specialist services, including EMGs, for work-related orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal injuries. The role also requires communication with employers and active participation in case management, significantly impacting patient recovery.
Requirements
- Licensure requirements of the state of practice
- Graduate of accredited MD or DO program of accredited university
- Unrestricted DEA license for state of jurisdiction
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
- Must have Medical Malpractice Insurance which will cover you while on site

- Preferred experience in treating patients with work related injuries
Responsibilities
