EMG Specialist Independent Contractor
About The Position
Concentra, one of the largest health care companies in the nation, is seeking a Physiatrist / Neurologist to work as a 1099 independent contractor. This role involves performing EMGs and NCS on-site at Concentra locations. The position is a contract role designed to complement an existing private practice, typically requiring a 4-hour shift on a weekly or biweekly basis. Concentra Advanced Specialists are crucial in managing medically complex patients, facilitating their return to work, and aiding functional restoration. The specialist will collaborate with medical and therapy providers to deliver specialized services, primarily EMGs and NCS, for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal work-related injuries, aiming to significantly impact patient care and comfort.
Requirements
- Licensure requirements of the state of practice
- Graduate of accredited MD or DO program of accredited university
- Unrestricted DEA license for state of jurisdiction
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Neurology or Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
- Must have Medical Malpractice Insurance which will cover you while on site
Nice To Haves
- Preferred experience in treating patients with work related injuries
Responsibilities
