EMG Specialist Independent Contractor
About The Position
Concentra, a leading healthcare company, is seeking a Physiatrist or Neurologist to work on-site as a 1099 independent contractor to perform Electromyography (EMG) and Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS). This contract role is designed to supplement your existing practice, with a typical commitment of approximately 4 hours per week or bi-weekly. As a Concentra Advanced Specialist, you will manage medically complex patients, facilitating their return to work and functional restoration. In collaboration with medical and therapy providers, you will deliver specialist services, primarily EMGs and NCS, for work-related orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal injuries. Your contributions will significantly impact the lives of patients seeking care and comfort.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Neurology or Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
- Unrestricted DEA license for the state of jurisdiction
- Medical Malpractice Insurance covering services provided on-site
