EMG Specialist Independent Contractor
About The Position
Concentra, a large healthcare company, is seeking a Physiatrist or Neurologist as a 1099 independent contractor to perform EMGs and NCS on-site. This contract role is designed to complement an existing practice, with a typical engagement involving approximately 4-hour shifts on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. Concentra Advanced Specialists manage medically complex patients, facilitating their return to work and functional restoration. In collaboration with medical and therapy providers, you will offer specialist services, primarily EMGs and NCS, for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal work-related injuries. The treatments provided will significantly impact patients' lives.
Requirements
- Licensure requirements of the state of practice
- Graduate of accredited MD or DO program of accredited university
- Unrestricted DEA license for state of jurisdiction
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Neurology or Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
- Must have Medical Malpractice Insurance which will cover you while on site
Nice To Haves
- Preferred experience in treating patients with work related injuries
