About The Position

The EMG Scheduling and Physician Relations Lead drives patient access to care and diagnostic revenue by converting EMG referrals into scheduled evaluations through accurate, responsive scheduling services. The role oversees central scheduling specialists and supports EMG studies while coordinating regional marketing and physician relationship efforts.

The position ensures prompt, professional communication and a patient-centered experience by managing intake, verifying insurance alignment, and coordinating scheduling logistics across multiple systems and clinic locations. It also supports diagnostic operations and works with clinical and operations leaders to improve access and service.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in medical scheduling or patient intake.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and EMR systems, such as Prompt.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience leading a scheduling or operations team in healthcare.
• Strong communication and physician-facing skills.
• Comfort with multi-state coordination and process improvement workflows.
• At least 18 years old.
• Must be cleared on State and Federal Exclusion Lists and have no negative notes on NPDB.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience with EMG, neurology, or therapy scheduling.
• Familiarity with insurance verification and multi-location healthcare operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the central scheduling and support team.
