About The Position
AO is seeking motivated, coachable, and people-focused professionals to join our growing virtual team as Emerging Leadership Associates. This opportunity is designed for individuals who want to develop valuable professional skills while building toward future leadership. You'll begin by working directly with individuals and families, helping them understand available insurance benefits and coverage options while receiving structured training, mentorship, and leadership development. As your skills and performance grow, you'll have opportunities to take on additional responsibilities in mentorship, training, team development, and leadership. No previous insurance or management experience is required. We provide comprehensive training, licensing guidance, mentorship, and ongoing professional development.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Be physically located within the United States
- Have access to a computer or laptop
- Maintain reliable high-speed internet
- Have webcam and microphone capability
- Maintain a quiet, professional workspace
- Be comfortable communicating through Zoom and phone
- Be willing to complete required training and professional development
- Hold or be willing and able to obtain the appropriate state Life & Health Insurance License

Responsibilities
- Conducting scheduled virtual consultations through Zoom and phone
- Connecting with individuals and families interested in benefit information
- Identifying client needs and financial protection priorities
- Explaining available life, accident, and supplemental health insurance options
- Answering questions clearly and professionally
- Providing needs-based recommendations
- Guiding clients through applications and enrollment
- Providing ongoing service and follow-up
- Assisting with applicable policy reviews and updates
- Maintaining accurate digital client records
- Building long-term relationships through trust, integrity, and exceptional service
- Mentoring and supporting newer representatives
- Preparing for greater leadership responsibilities
