About The Position
Hickory Veterinary Specialty Hospital in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania, is seeking a compassionate, dedicated Emergency Veterinarian to join its emergency and specialty team. The role is suited to experienced emergency clinicians and veterinarians seeking to transition into emergency medicine. The hospital emphasizes mentorship, teamwork, and clinical excellence, supporting veterinarians in providing life-saving care to emergency patients. The hospital is a specialty and emergency referral center serving the Greater Philadelphia area and is part of COVE Animal Health, an independent, veterinarian-led network of hospitals. Emergency veterinarians work alongside board-certified specialists in surgery, internal medicine, neurology, cardiology, and other specialties to provide comprehensive care for complex and critically ill patients. The hospital offers 24/7 emergency and specialty support, advanced digital radiography, ultrasound and CT imaging, endoscopy, a comprehensive in-house laboratory, modern surgical suites, dedicated intensive care and critical care units, and collaborative case management with specialists. The team-based environment is intended to support clinical practice and continued professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Provide life-saving emergency care to patients.
