About The Position

Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospital of Wichita is seeking veterinarians passionate about working in emergency medicine for our 6-month training and mentorship program. This program, known as the Ethos ER Immerse Mentorship Program, is designed to prepare veterinarians for a sustainable and satisfying career in emergency medicine. It focuses on core competencies essential for an emergency veterinarian, including clinical knowledge and skills, client and team member communication, professional skills, and life/work integration. The program utilizes a hybrid training approach with simulation-based didactic components and authentic training experiences with live patients. The hospital is a thriving, gold-standard ER and specialty hospital with in-house Dentistry and Surgery specialists, advanced diagnostic tools, and a diverse, fast-paced caseload. It fosters a collaborative culture and is located in a vibrant, affordable city.
