The facility is a 12,000 square foot remodeled space offering 3 operating rooms, 10 exam rooms, 4 large treatment areas, a dedicated feline ward, centralized ICU for critically ill hospitalized patients, isolation ward with exterior access and two x-ray suites. It features state-of-the-art equipment including a 16 slice CT scanner complete with power-injector, 1.5 T MR, C-arm fluoroscopy, video endoscopy, telemetry EKG, a NOVA point of care unit, in house CBC and serum chemistry, 2 teaching microscopes, viscoelastic coagulation monitoring, 3 ultrasound machines, and high-flow nasal oxygen insufflation. Specialties include emergency and critical care, internal medicine, boarded surgeons, oncology, radiology and neurology. There is an opportunity to join a robust teaching facility that offers a challenging rotating internship program, clinical rotations for visiting 3rd and 4th year veterinary students, and hosts regular didactic rounds, formal journal club, and regular CE events with referral veterinarians.
