About The Position

DVM Focus is recruiting an Emergency Veterinarian for a small-animal emergency practice in the Birmingham, Alabama area. The role offers the variety and pace of emergency medicine in a team-focused clinical environment. The veterinarian will evaluate and manage a broad range of urgent and emergency cases while collaborating closely with veterinary technicians and fellow clinicians. Veterinarians at different career stages may be considered, including those interested in developing their emergency medicine skills. Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent.
Current veterinary license or ability to obtain appropriate state licensure.
Strong clinical judgment and interest in emergency medicine.
General medical and surgical skills appropriate to experience level.
Effective client communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Commitment to compassionate, high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

Evaluate, stabilize, diagnose, and treat emergency and urgent-care patients.
