About The Position

Animal Emergency Center of Yorktown, Virginia is GROWING! We are looking to add an emergency veterinarian to our awesome veterinary team! Our ideal veterinarian candidate would be open to working nights and weekends. Weekday shifts are 5:30pm to 8am. Both day and overnight shifts are available on the weekends. At our state-of-the-art emergency and critical care hospital, we care for small animals and some exotic pets. We offer laser therapy, hospitalization, bloodwork (Abaxis blood machine), and most emergency surgeries. Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university
Current DEA License or obtained upon hire
Active Veterinary State License
USDA Accreditation or obtained upon hire
Passionate and experienced veterinarian with a strong interest and background in emergency medicine.
