About The Position

The Emergency Tech I holds shift accountability for providing care to patients in accordance with RN and physician direction, recognized techniques, standards of practice, and hospital policies and procedures in the emergency department and related areas. This position supports all facilities in the market as needed. Prior experience with IV insertion, blood draws, and placing 12 Lead ECGs may be required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current EMT-Basic (EMT-B) or EMT-Intermediate (EMT-I) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Nice To Haves

• Emergency Medical Technician experience.
• Graduate of an Emergency Medical Technician program.
• Prior experience with IV insertion, blood draws, and placing 12 Lead ECGs may be required.

Responsibilities
