About The Position

The Emergency Tech - Paramedic provides direct patient care under the supervision of an RN, APP, Physician, and/or Medical Director. The position assists clinical staff with patient evaluation, treatment, and care, including obtaining relevant patient history, assisting with physical examinations, and performing delegated technical procedures. The technician monitors patients and maintains records using patient monitoring equipment and electronic health records to document patient status, care delivery, and response to care according to established procedures and protocols.

This is a part-time, 90% FTE position on an evening/night schedule. Shifts are scheduled as 8 and/or 12 hours between 11:00 AM and 11:30 PM, with a required weekend rotation. Hours may vary according to departmental operational needs. Work experience relevant to the position will be considered when determining starting base pay.

Requirements

• Current Paramedic license.
• ACLS certification.
• At least 6 months of relevant experience in emergency departments, hospitals, or other healthcare entities, including EMS.

Nice To Haves

• Current NREMT Paramedic certification.
• At least 1 year of previous field Paramedic experience; current or ongoing experience is strongly preferred.
• PALS certification.
