About The Position

In the Security & Emergency Services Manager role, you will be responsible for promoting the safety, security, and well-being of residents, employees, and visitors. The SES Manager delivers exceptional customer service and hospitality, fosters a culture of belonging, and manages a team of EMS professionals who provide emergency medical services to residents, employees, and visitors.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to handle both emergencies and non-emergencies with a customer first approach
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in public safety leadership (Fire/EMS/Law Enforcement), Emergency Management, or comparable leadership experience
  • Current and valid driver’s license
  • Minimum of 1 year experience working in an Emergency Responder role
  • Emergency Medical Responder Certification (within 6 months of hire)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification (provided if needed)
  • OSHA 10-Hour certification (within 6 months of hire)

Nice To Haves

  • Professional Security Certification such as CPP, PSP, or CHPA

Responsibilities

  • Assume overall responsibility for the safety, security, and well-being of the community
  • Support a 24-hour, 7-days-a-week operation, ensuring continuous coverage and rapid response at all times
  • Conduct safety inspections, testing, and audits in support of Life Safety and OSHA compliance
  • Identify safety/security risks and responds accordingly
  • Conduct investigations, documents and preserves evidence as required
  • Operate company vehicles safely and in accordance with established policies and applicable laws
  • Responds to incidents and emergencies of significance and serves as the incident commander until relieved by a higher authority
  • Serve as the liaison officer to external first responders
