About The Position

IndyVet Emergency and Specialty Hospital is seeking an ER Technician Receiving Lead to join their team in Indianapolis, IN. This AAHA and Cat Friendly hospital has been providing innovative and compassionate care for over 25 years. The facility boasts advanced equipment including human-grade MRI, CT, a blood banking program, an in-house laboratory, digital radiology, and utilizes Ezyvet and VetRadar. The Receiving Lead will oversee the care of all outpatients presenting to the Emergency Service, managing the workflow for triage, doctor exams, treatments, and discharges. This role works concurrently with the Hospital Lead, providing mutual support.

Requirements

RVT or equivalent veterinary assistant experience
Fluent in Ezyvet and VetRadar platforms

Nice To Haves

Two (2) years of experience in the veterinary field
Supervisory/leadership experience
Demonstrate organization, collaboration, exceptional work ethic, attention to detail, problem solving skills, and follow through ability.

Responsibilities

Oversee the care of all outpatients that present to the Emergency Service.
Maintain the workflow regarding triage, doctor exams, treatments, discharges, etc.
Uphold company policies and SOPs.
Uphold company culture.
Foster a positive, proactive work environment.
Be forward thinking, anticipate challenges and work to find solutions to prevent these issues from becoming problems.
Be approachable to all team members.
Assist with job shadows, C9 students, and working interviews as needed.
Check the emergency email and ER communications on Ezyvet throughout shift.
Ensure that all team members are keeping busy and being proactive in down time.
