About The Position

Exceptional Healthcare is hiring ER Techs (PRN Shift) to support physicians and nurses in our new Emergency Center, which is opening Fall 2026 in Rapid City, SD. This is an opportunity to help build a new community hospital from the ground up. The ER team is a small but mighty 24/7 crew where every hand counts, offering a fast-paced learning environment with hands-on experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 to 3 years ER experience, OR EMT experience, OR 1+ year as a CNA
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• Availability for 12-hour shifts, weekends, and holidays

Nice To Haves

• EMT or CNA certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs
• Perform phlebotomy
• Start IVs
• Perform EKGs
• Conduct point-of-care testing
• Assist with wound care
• Collect lab specimens
• Apply orthopedic splints
• Fit crutches
• Transport patients
• Assist with procedures
• Maintain room cleanliness
• Stock supplies
