About The Position

Carroll County Memorial Hospital's role is to improve the health and well-being of the residents and visitors to Carroll County and surrounding counties, by providing quality, compassionate, cost effective and convenient health care through community leadership and in collaboration with other healthcare organizations which serve our communities. This is an hourly PRN position, requiring a minimum of 1 shift every 6 weeks. The role involves upholding CCMH’s Core Values of: Respect, Compassion, Justice, Stewardship, and Excellence. The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient/family needs for ages neonate through geriatric, demonstrate professional development and clinical competency, and address health educational needs for patients, families, and other health care providers. The position also involves managing patient care assignments and/or additional tasks related to patient and unit operations, and acting in a clinical leadership role, applying knowledge of growth and development in patient interactions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree, or Associate’s Degree from an accredited School of Nursing (required)
• Current licensure in the state of Kentucky (required)
• CPR certification
• ACLS certification

Nice To Haves

• Certification in area of specialty (preferred)
• One to two years ER experience (preferred)
