About The Position

The Emergency Department Technician I reports to the Nurse Manager and works under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. The role performs multi-skilled activities to support a decentralized, patient-centered approach to care and help achieve desired patient outcomes.

Requirements

Completion of an EMT, Paramedic, Nurse Assistant, or other related clinical course.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within two weeks of hire and must be maintained thereafter. The accepted certifications are American Heart Association (AHA) BLS or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers.
