About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced, team-oriented emergency department. The 28-bed department includes 4 trauma bays, 2 behavioral health rooms, and 22 cardiac monitor rooms. The schedule is nights, with three 12-hour shifts (36 hours weekly) after the first week of orientation. Hours are not guaranteed, and holiday coverage is required. The position is located at a healthcare facility in Hawaii.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as an Emergency Room Registered Nurse.
• Current Hawaii nursing license required by the start of the assignment.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Current BLS/BCLS certification.
• Current PALS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in emergency situations.
• Collaborate with a diverse healthcare team to support efficient patient flow and optimal care.
• Manage high patient turnover while maintaining high standards of care.
• Conduct patient assessments, develop care plans, and implement interventions as needed.
