About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Room team in Alexandria, Louisiana. Requirements

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• At least 1 year of experience in an Emergency Room or critical care setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and make informed decisions under pressure.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to individuals with diverse health needs in the Emergency Room.
• Assess patient conditions and use clinical judgment to prioritize care and interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and post-treatment care.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records in compliance with guidelines.
• Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current on best practices and emerging healthcare trends.
