About The Position

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) provides high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced emergency department. The role collaborates with healthcare teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with established protocols and standards.

The position works night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Flexibility regarding shift changes may be necessary to accommodate departmental needs. The position is based in City, State.

Requirements

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• At least 2 years of experience in an emergency room or critical care setting.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients upon arrival in the emergency department.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Communicate with patients and their families about treatment plans and care processes.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and respond appropriately to changes in their medical condition.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training as required.
