About The Position

This is a travel position for an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment. The position is based in Independence, Missouri, and candidates may be required to travel to multiple locations within the region. The unit has 40+ beds, 120+ staff, and patient ratios of 4:1, with three rooms and one hall bed in high-volume situations. The EMR system is Meditech.

The successful candidate is adaptable, works well with a team, and performs effectively under pressure. An outgoing and positive demeanor under pressure is essential for success. Typical procedures include IV starts, phlebotomy, and cardiac monitoring and interpretation.

Requirements

• Adaptability.
• Ability to work as a team player.
• Required RN certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, and CPI.
• Wear a gray scrub top with black or gray scrub bottoms.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in high-pressure environments.
• Medical background, such as RN, medic, or technician.
