About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join a fast-paced, 379-bed Level II Trauma Center. This role requires strong clinical judgment, the ability to handle high-acuity patients, and adaptability in a dynamic emergency department setting. The unit is Emergency Services East with a patient ratio of 1:3.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of ER experience
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- TNCC Certification
- NIH Stroke Certification
- ACLS Certification
- BLS Certification
- PALS Certification
Responsibilities
- Perform rapid patient assessments, triage, and prioritize care based on acuity
- Provide emergency nursing care for trauma, acute illness, and injury cases
- Initiate and manage life-saving interventions in critical situations
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and blood products safely
- Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Operate emergency equipment such as cardiac monitors, ventilators, and defibrillators
- Document patient care accurately per hospital standards
- Educate patients and families on treatment and discharge plans
- Maintain infection control and patient safety standards
- Support trauma and code response teams
