About The Position

The Mount Sinai Health System is seeking a full-time Emergency Room Consultation Psychiatrist to work via telemedicine in their Emergency room. The role involves evaluating patients' symptoms and treatment courses, arranging admissions or discharges, completing documentation, and collaborating with emergency room teams (physicians, social workers, nursing staff). Additionally, the position will work closely with the Clinical Command Center to facilitate psychiatric patient transfers and optimize patient flow within the health system.

Requirements
