About The Position

BryceTech is seeking an Emergency Management Analyst to support the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Office of Emerging Threats (OET). OET's mission is to identify, assess, and inform FEMA and its partners about emerging threats that could impact national response and recovery capabilities. This role involves analyzing evolving hazards such as cyberattacks, climate impacts, and advanced weapons technologies. The position requires strong analytical support, cross-agency collaboration, and integration of intelligence, data analytics, and risk assessments to aid FEMA's operational planning and capability development.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship and ability to obtain DHS Public Trust
  • 7+ years of experience in FEMA, emerging threats, or policy analysis
  • Bachelors Degree in related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Proficiency with all MS Office products and Adobe Acrobat
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within teams

Responsibilities

  • Communicate systematically and consistently with multiple stakeholders about cross-cutting issues, engaging FEMA Leadership, Public Affairs, and Congressional Affairs as needed.
  • Create and distribute internal communications on upcoming CBRN policy issues and initiatives to educate FEMA senior leadership.
  • Develop briefings, presentations, after-action reports, videos, and graphics to support the OET Director or members of the OET Management Team.
  • Provide support in periodic events and informal meetings.
  • Maintain, update, and develop the FEMA OET internal and external website.
  • Develop products such as brochures, kiosks, and visuals to showcase the Office mission.
  • Support the Office on social and official messaging, graphics development, and video projects to further CBRN Office objectives related to the FEMA/CBRN mission.
  • Support the development and delivery of articles for publication in emergency publications.
  • Provide training and advisement to FEMA employees on regulations, threat analysis documents, and interactions with various emerging threat stakeholders.
  • Research, analyze, and develop materials for speeches and testimony for FEMA senior leadership.
  • Draft periodic reports covering relevant events for broad distribution across FEMA.
  • Ensure 508 compliance on all contractor-developed videos and documents intended for distribution.
