About The Position

BryceTech is seeking an Emergency Management Analyst to support the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Office of Emerging Threats (OET). OET's mission is to identify, assess, and inform FEMA and its partners about emerging threats that could impact national response and recovery capabilities. This role requires strong analytical support, cross-agency collaboration, and integration of intelligence, data analytics, and risk assessments to aid FEMA's operational planning and capability development. The analyst will communicate with multiple stakeholders, create internal communications on CBRN policy, develop briefings and presentations, support events, maintain websites, develop visual products, assist with messaging and graphics, contribute to publications, provide training on regulations and threat analysis, research materials for senior leadership speeches, draft periodic reports, and ensure 508 compliance on developed materials.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship and ability to obtain DHS Public Trust
  • 4+ years of experience in FEMA, emerging threats, or policy analysis
  • Bachelors Degree in related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Proficiency with all MS Office product and Adobe Acrobat
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within teams

Responsibilities

  • Support in communicating, in a systematic and consistent way, with multiple stakeholders about cross-cutting issues and engaging FEMA Leadership, Public Affairs and Congressional Affairs, as needed and as requested
  • Create and distribute internal communications on upcoming CBRN policy issues and initiatives to educate FEMA senior leadership
  • Develop briefings, presentations, after action reports, video, and graphics support supporting the OET Director or members of the OET Management Team
  • Provide support in periodic events and informal meetings
  • Maintain, update, and when needed develop, the FEMA OET internal and external website
  • Develop products such as brochures, kiosks, and visuals to help showcase the Office mission
  • Supports the Office on social and official messaging, graphics development and video projects as needed to further the CBRN Office objectives as related to the FEMA/CBRN mission
  • Support the development and delivery of articles to be published in emergency publications
  • Provide training and advisement to FEMA employees on regulations, threat analysis documents, and interactions with various emerging threat stakeholders
  • Research, analyze, and develop materials for speeches and testimony to be given by FEMA senior leadership
  • Draft periodic reports covering relevant events that can be shared broadly across FEMA
  • Ensure 508 compliance on all contractor developed videos and documents developed for distribution
