About The Position
We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a Locum Tenens position in Carlisle, PA. This role involves providing clinical coverage in a hospital setting, focusing on emergency medicine cases for patients of all ages. The position offers 24-hour shifts and is ongoing from July 2026. The Emergency Department has 10 beds, and the facility is equipped with CT and imaging, supported by a team of physicians, nurses, techs, and APPs. Epic is used as the EMR system.
Requirements
- Active PA license or IMLC required
- BC/BE in Emergency Medicine or Internal Medicine
- DEA required
- Minimum 1 year of experience required
- Emergency Medicine procedures
- Critical care interventions
- Trauma care
Nice To Haves
- ABEM preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency department coverage
- Evaluate and treat patients of all ages
- Perform emergency procedures as needed
- Collaborate with ED staff and care teams
- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic
