About The Position
The West Virginia University Health System (WVUHS) is seeking a full-time Emergency Medicine Physician to join WVUM and the department of Emergency Medicine. This role involves traveling system-wide to serve at various community and critical access hospitals in West Virginia, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. WVUHS is the state's largest health system and largest private employer, comprising 18 hospitals and five institutes, and providing management services for other local hospitals. Requirements
- MD or DO degree (foreign educational equivalent accepted).
- Eligible to obtain an unrestricted West Virginia medical license.
- Emergency medicine board certified.
- Completed an accredited emergency medicine residency program and/or a recognized board within ABMS.
- All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
Responsibilities
- Travel system-wide, serving at various community and critical access hospitals in WV, OH, PA, and MD.
- Practice emergency medicine.
