About The Position
The West Virginia University Health System, the state’s largest health system and largest private employer, comprises 18 hospitals throughout the state and bordering states. WVUM and the department of Emergency Medicine seeks a full-time Emergency Medicine Physician to travel system-wide, serving at various community and critical access hospitals in WV, OH, PA, and MD. Qualified applicants must have an MD or DO degree (the employer accepts foreign educational equivalent) and be eligible to obtain an unrestricted West Virginia medical license. Candidates must be emergency medicine board certified and have completed an accredited emergency medicine residency program and/or a recognized board within ABMS. Requirements
- MD or DO degree (the employer accepts foreign educational equivalent)
- Eligible to obtain an unrestricted West Virginia medical license
- Emergency medicine board certified
