About The Position

Skilled Wound Care is hiring Emergency Medicine Physicians in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to work as wound care physicians and lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities across the area. Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice, or eligibility to obtain one.
• DEA license, or eligibility to obtain one.
• Complete pre-employment confidential DiSC testing and appropriate relevant skills testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical and sharp debridement and other bedside procedures.
• Evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing, and complex wounds.
• Use advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborate in skilled nursing facilities and the post-acute setting, following patients through healing.
• Lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities across the area.
