About The Position
Seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician for a Locum Tenens position in Avon, IN. This role involves providing clinical coverage for unassigned patients in an outpatient setting. The physician will be responsible for delivering timely emergency medical care, managing patient documentation and orders using the Cerner EMR system, and collaborating with a dedicated support staff. The position requires flexibility to work overnight and weekend shifts.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine.
- Active Indiana License or Universal License (IMLC).
- Cerner experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide timely emergency medical care to acute patients.
- Manage unassigned patients during shifts.
- Work collaboratively with nursing and support staff.
- Perform overnight and weekend shifts as scheduled.
- Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and order entry.
