About The Position

The Emergency Medical Technician-PCP is responsible for responding to emergency and non-emergent calls for service, provide initial assessment, treatment and transport of ill or injured persons. Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement. Requirements

  • Primary Care Paramedic diploma (PCP)
  • Valid Class 4 driver's license
  • International Trauma Life Support Certificate (ITLS)
  • Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
  • Basic - Interpersonal skills

  • Basic - Verbal communication skills
  • Basic - Critical thinking skills
  • Basic - Conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team

  • Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics at PCP/EMT level
