About The Position

The Emergency Medical Technician-Lieutenant is responsible for ensuring 100% staffing levels within their team, potentially by covering open shifts personally. This role also focuses on fostering positive team morale, effective communication across the company, and professional interaction with Department Officers. The Lieutenant will attend leadership meetings and promote the growth and development of their team.

Responsibilities

• Perform staffing duties as delegated by the team Captain
• Ensure 100% staffing levels by the standards set forth in the employee handbook
• Cover open shifts personally if necessary to ensure 100% staffing levels
• Facilitate positive team morale and effective communication within your team and across the Northeast Fire-Rescue company
• Effectively communicate with Department Officers in a timely and professional manner
• Attend leadership/management team meetings
• Promote the growth and development of your team
